This stainless steel bit tends to suit horses that lack space in their mouth or those that put their tongue over the bit. It can be a good option for horses that find solid metal bits too bulky and restrictive, yet don't respond well to a hackamore.

The Play Chain bit has a similar action to the waterford mouthpiece, as the chain will bend in every direction and encourage some play whilst preventing the horse from leaning on it.

It is strongly recommended that this bit is only used by the very experienced, as it can be a very severe bit.
