Oregon Draw Reins

Oregon leatherwear is made
from the finest American
cowhide and tanned using a
vegetable pit tanning process.
The surface finish is
completely natural and lacquer
free. This is possible
because each hide is
individually selected for it's
blemish free appearance.
The leather is
pre-oiled prior to sale for a
soft and supple appearance.
It is recommended that leather
be regularly cleaned with
saddle soap and occasionally
treated with a good quality
leather oil to ensure its
lasting suppleness and
strength.
These
draw reins feature strong
synthetic rope, designed to
move freely through the bit
rings.
Draw reins
are fitted by attaching the
snap ends to the girth or
saddle, through the bit rings
(from inside to outside) and
back to the rider's hands.
They are a training device,
used to assist with drawing
the horse's head down and into
the correct position. They may
also be configured as a
running rein if required. They
should be used by experienced
riders only.
